Amy has been involved in the real estate business since 1985, spending five years as a realtor before a friend lured her into the mortgage business as a loan officer. Her vast background and experience helps Amy to thoroughly understand the needs and concerns of her clients. She thinks of herself as a member of each client’s financial team and her role in that team is to assist with the management of debt.

By taking this counseling approach to her mortgage practice, Amy has become one of the top mortgage professionals in New England and is sought out both locally and nationally to speak at mortgage industry events and training programs. Additionally, in her pursuit of excellence Amy is committed to professional coaching, and attends several training programs annually. She constantly analyzes her business practices in order to insure that she and her team are always striving to exceed the expectations of her clients and referring partners.

In addition to being an outstanding mortgage professional, Amy has been married for 20 years to Emitt, who is in the music business. They have two teenage sons, Kyle and Nolan. It was the discovery at Nolan’s birth in 1990 that he has Down syndrome, that prompted Amy to make the move from real estate sales to mortgages so that she could be available to spend more weekend time with her family. Her interests range from hiking and running with her companion Sydney, her Airedale terrier, to speaking to schoolchildren about Down syndrome and mental retardation. She is a novice but enthusiastic gardener and loves to read. In addition, Amy and Emitt love to renovate houses and are a great resource for contractor referrals.

Unlike others in her industry, Amy takes a very proactive position with her clients, having frequent contact with her borrowers throughout the entire mortgage process and beyond. Amy and her team are dedicated to providing a seamless transaction through this often complicated experience. Along with offering competitive rates and a huge variety of loan programs, clients often look to Amy for referrals to financial, legal or other real estate professionals. She has an established database consisting of the top individuals in the area and is always happy to share her knowledge.
